Who we are

Oceanblok ([legal company name], registry code [code], [address], Estonia) builds software and the Oceanblok apps for monday.com. For anything about your data, email [email protected].

This website

oceanblok.com does not use analytics, tracking cookies or third-party fonts. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which sees visitors' IP addresses to protect and speed up the site, and is hosted on our own server at Hetzner in Finland.

If you use the contact form or email us, we use your name, email, company and message only to reply and keep a record of the conversation. Form messages are stored on our server in Finland and forwarded by Resend to our inbox at Zoho Mail (EU). We keep them for as long as the conversation is useful, and at most two years after it ends, unless they become part of a contract.

Our monday.com apps

When your company installs an Oceanblok app, we process data on your company's behalf. Your company is the data controller and we are the processor. A data processing agreement is available on request.

For Oceanblok Snapshots this means:

  • Board data from the boards you set up a schedule for, to build the files and keep the history you asked for.
  • Recipient email addresses you enter, to send the exports, and records of which addresses each export was sent to.
  • Basic account details from monday.com: account and user ids, roles and the email of users who set up schedules.
  • A monday.com access token for each user who connects the app, stored encrypted and used only to read the boards they chose.

The app only reads from monday.com; it never changes your boards.

Where data is stored

Data is hosted on monday.com's app hosting in the same region as your monday.com account (US, EU, Australia or Israel). Emails are sent through an email delivery provider from the matching region.

  • Email delivery provider: sending email (to be named before launch)
  • For this website only: Cloudflare (delivery), Hetzner (hosting), Resend (forwarding form messages) and Zoho Mail (our inbox)

How long we keep it

Saved copies of your boards are kept for the period your plan includes (14 days to 3 years) and then deleted. If your company uninstalls the app, or an admin deletes all app data, we delete everything for that account, including saved copies, schedules, recipient lists, tokens and the activity log.

Recipients who don't use monday.com

If you receive exports from an Oceanblok app, every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. Using it stops that schedule from emailing you, and the person who added you is told.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data, and object to how it's used. For data in an app, we'll usually pass your request to the company that controls it. You can also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon).
