Branded and client-ready emails
Reports that go to clients should look like they come from you.
Every email
- A coloured bar with the sender's name, a heading with the board name and date, the content, and the reason line or unsubscribe link at the bottom.
- Four counts above the lists: Added, Removed, Changed and Overdue.
- Either a Download the file button, or the line "Attached: " and the file name.
- Replies go to the person who owns the schedule, not to a mailbox nobody reads.
A message at the top
Each schedule has an optional Message at the top of the email, up to 1,000 characters. It appears above the summary in a quoted block, and line breaks are kept. Use it for a greeting or a note about what the report is for.
Your brand (Team and above)
Account admins find Email branding on the Settings tab.
- Brand name: shown in the bar. It can't contain an @ sign.
- Accent colour: paints the bar and the buttons.
- Logo: a PNG or JPEG of at most 200 KB. Anything else, including SVG files, is refused with "Upload a PNG or JPEG under 200 KB." The logo is shown at up to 160 pixels wide in the bar.
Without a brand the email is sent as Oceanblok Snapshots. With one, the sender name is your brand name via Oceanblok Snapshots. The sending address doesn't change.
Branding never removes the unsubscribe link or the reason line. On the Free plan the "Sent with Oceanblok Snapshots" line stays too, and Free has no branding.
Your logo travels inside each email as an attachment. It isn't hosted on a web address. If an account moves to a plan without branding, emails go out unbranded and the saved brand is ignored, and you can still remove the logo. If you delete all app data, the logo is deleted, while the brand name and colour stay as settings.
